The Canik TP series trigger is the Walther system, they had discussions and probably some sort of agreement with Walther. Through the various iterations of the TP9 series, the trigger was improved. The best I've tried so far is the SF E and SF X (same trigger). I have the P10F and the rival. I shoot the CZ better and I like the trigger better (hbi theta) than the Canik. I also don't like shooting the rival because it beats my thumbs up. I ride the slide hard with my thumbs and the slide serrations get painful. Both are nice guns and you honestly can't go wrong with either.
