I'd say give the kalgerion demon a passive crit chance boost (5%) and the special doubles your passive boost and gives a 5% boost to other players. This way it's viable both in solo and group player. Can also change the active to something else than this. Having to manually use the spec at optimal times is just pretty unfriendly to use in general.

A no-scroll kal'gerion demon and no-scroll ripper are actually quite close in damage output, assuming 100% accuracy (Ripper is slightly more accurate iirc).
