And then, put it back together, with all of the wire still out. Simply by holding the top side of the head, and twisting the lower side of the head in the opposite direction, it winds it up perfectly. Every single time. On the upper part of the spool, insert approximately 1/2 inch of one end of the trimmer line into one of the holes. Then, neatly wrap the string around the spool in the direction indicated by the arrows on the spool, leaving 4 inches unwrapped. Place the end of the string into the notch and then repeat this process on the lower half of the spool.
